I have been searching for good Blue John cabochons to share with you for months & months... & this one makes it worth all the hard work!  This amazing material is only found in Derbyshire & this is a wonderful example, cut by a UK cutter from old rough he discovered.  It has been traditionally stabilised with pine resin (Blue John is brittle & must be stabilised) & has been cut into an incredible gemstone featuring the distinctive colour banding found in Blue John.

A unique & stunning gemstone suitable for the collector or the jeweller looking for something a little different.
