You'll be familiar with the usual spiral of an ammonite but might not have seen one cut & polished in this way showing the leaf-like suture pattern - the intersection of the septum walls with the shell.  Beautiful toffee coloured tones in this unusual gemstone.

Please note there is a slight dip across the top of the cabochon, following the suture pattern
