Here is an offering from my little box of treasures for you… Rutilated quartz... but not as you may have seen it! 

You may be familiar with rutilated quartz - golden needles of rutile caught within rock crystal - but this one is a little bit special. In this one the golden rutiles are oriented into a star pattern, radiating out from central hematite inclusions. 

I just love this stone!!
