This chunky, translucent to opaque sheen sapphire is just stunning!  It has a pattern inside following the 6-sided growth pattern of a sapphire crystal.  Gemmologists will appreciate the stunning growth pattern.  Jewellers (and their customers) will love how unusual it looks - it could feature in the perfect (huge!) engagement ring for someone who loves to be different.  It could look amazing in a pendant, where the movement would show off the sheen in this stone.  I'll admit it will be hard for me to part with this gem - it's beautiful.
