Varying tones of pink forming a striking pattern.  Please note this is a flatter cabochon with a flat back and only a slightly domed top.

With a hardness of 4, fair toughness and fair stability, rhodochrosite is best suited for use in pendants, earrings and brooches and consideration should be given before setting in rings and bracelets.
