A pair of silver earrings set with 12.00ct of gorgeous turquoise-blue coloured Hemimorphite. Each one measures approx. 28x11mm.
Hemimorphite is a silicate mineral and one of the silicate group that make up 90% of the Earth’s crust. I still have trouble getting my head around the fact that it is a component of calamine – that horrible, chalky pink lotion that you were smothered with when you had chickenpox! It is found in the upper parts of zinc and lead ores and has been discovered in Europe, North America, North Africa, Thailand, and Matlock in Derbyshire.
These pieces of jewellery are hallmarked for your assurance and come with a gift box and a gift card detailing the weight of the gemstones and a little information about them as shown in the example photograph.
