Tones of grey and pale taupe with the palest orange-pink tint towards the bottom of the pear cut.

Agate is a polycrystalline form of quartz.  With a hardness of 6, excellent toughness and good stability, agate is suitable for use in rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, brooches and cufflinks, although abrasion and wear may occur in rings and bracelets.
